River's days vary pretty heavily. Her sleep schedule is really erratic, especially here; people's dreams tend to invade her own, so she often wakes up at weird hours. And since there's no big brother here to stop her from crazy!wandering, that's usually what she does. Her lucidity depends really heavily on the mental state of those around her; now that she's away from Blue Sun, most of the stuff that made her, you know, batshit loco, is all pretty much gone; buuuut she has new crazy to deal with. Some days she just feels sorry listening to other people's secrets. Other days... it's bad. She especially can't get anywhere near the police station, because the backfeed from Matt makes her head hurt and Akito/Agito(/Lind?) is... tough for even her to get through hjskdh also she hates hates HATES being anywhere around Raito, Mukuro, anyone who's a big bad. How she gets fed is also kind of up in the air; if she's lucid she goes on her own, charms shopkeepers into feeding her. She likes Denny's, if there is one. Occasionally she washes plates (what? money is nonsensical. pieces of paper assigned arbitrary value). Otherwise, she basically has to wait until Mal gets off of work. Sometimes (when it isn't busy) she goes to his workplace and looks at pretty shiny stuff. lkasjdk Mostly River's day is made up of wandering randomly through the streets, she doesn't have a routine. She does AT with Mal some; these times are probably her most lucid, "normal" moments, and Mal probably gets to see glimpses of what she used to be like pre-lobotomy. She laughs a lot (he falls a lot?). She comes back early because she knows that Kazu worries, and she sometimes spends time with Stormriders if they're visiting. She eats their food. What, she's crazy, she can't help not being able to reliably cook. Sometimes she visits Mal's apartment. She likes his roommate. Eventually she sleeps, but it's late. Matt is seriously the worst neighbor she could possibly have been assigned.

Does she spend any time around Vilma? Because she'd love to have her. And can she get feedback on Aya? Because I think Aya can get feedback on her.

The way I figure it she's probably wandering more and more toward Vilma's school every day. I don't really see her like... taking classes or anything because she doesn't remember any of her training, she just knows it. But Vilma's thoughts are pretty ordered, I think, so she'd probably wander in that area some, and would certainly be open to a cup of tea and some crazy fun story times.

She doesn't have to worry about that, Vilma's very careful about how she picks to put in "regular" classes; and I don't think she'd even really teach River privately. I think she'd like to keep an eye on her here and there, so when she wanders that way, yes, she probably does get some crumpets and tea.

OH ALSO AYA. The way I picture it with the dragon eye is like... Ayay sees stuff really clearly, but in bursts, right? So I guess it'd be kind of like River would be fine for a little bit, and then Aya would get a vision and River would like dive to the other side of the room wild-eyed and screaming, clutching her head. She's not made to handle the Dragon Eye, so I think she'd react differently to it than she would other people's psychic powers. It's kind of the same with Rachel Grey - River spends any amount of time around her and she gets a migraine.
